I’m back at the cakes!! I say that like I’d given them up, but truth be told…I’ve been busier at them than ever, but a lot of my energy has gone towards self healing, my new business and living life. I’ve got loads of videos that are needing edited but I thought I’d start with one of my latest. I loved making this cake.
So this blog is unlike any I’ve shared before. Truth be told, I’m not even sure I’ll hit publish on this one. It’s not cake related (I’ve been a bit quiet on that front). Continue reading “My Spiritual Journey”
I know, I know, I’ve been a bit scarce of late. I promise there’s a reason for this…a few actually. Mainly, I’m tired. My mom, and my grandmother used to make their luscious Dulce de Leche caramel by boiling a tin of Sweetened condensed milk on the stove for a few hours, always making sure to keep it topped up with water. I always knew my mom was going to make Banoffee Pie when she did this and my gran used it to fill her signature chocolate cake.
I was asked to make a baby shower cake for my daughters P1 teacher and I was so excited to do it. I have a special place in my heart for Mrs Hossack, so I knew her cake had to be one of a kind! Continue reading “How To Make a Rain Cloud Baby Shower Cake”
I’ve been pretty lucky in my Wedding Cake Career that I’ve never come across any hard to please brides. Most are pretty laid back and they give me some great ideas and let me do my thing. Katie was definitely one of those brides. Continue reading “Geode and Orchid Wedding Cake”
